Why Hold a Prize Competition?

Knowledge Centre for Smart Textiles hosts a prize competition to give you a chance to present your ideas about future textiles. Your ideas must have a commercial potential and be relevant to companies that work with sportswear, work wear, home textiles, fashion clothes, furniture fabrics, carpets or other textile related products. However, we do not expect participants to create a product that is ready to be marketed.

By participating in the competition, you will help to draw attention to smart textiles and inspire companies to use modern textile technology in their products.
