Roma Nemzetközi Diák Ösztöndíjprogram

A Roma Nemzetközi Diák Ösztöndíjprogram (Roma International Scholar Programme, rövidítve RISP) azzal a céllal jött létre, hogy részleges támogatást nyújtson azon roma hallgatók részére, akik a következő országok állampolgárai vagy lakosai: Albánia, Bulgária, Bosznia-Hercegovina, Horvátország, Csehország, Magyarország, Moldova, Koszovó, Montenegró, Macedónia, Oroszország, Románia, Szlovákia, Szerbia, Törökország, Ukrajna. Elősegítve, hogy a pályázók tanulmányaikat alap-, mester-, doktori- vagy posztdoktori szinten folytassák nappali tagozatos hallgatókként egy olyan ország államilag elismert, jó hírnevű egyetemén, amely országnak a pályázók nem lakosai vagy állampolgárai.

ROMA INTERNATIONAL SCHOLAR PROGRAMME

The Roma Education Fund Scholarships Programme (REF/SP) invites applications for its Roma International Scholar Programme, which is designed to support partially the international studies of Roma students citizens of one of the REF/SP countries (i.e. Albania, Croatia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine) for pursuing Bachelor, Master, PhD or Postdoctoral education outside of their home country or their country of residence.

The DEADLINE for sending RISP applications for the 2011-2012 academic year is: 15 SEPTEMBER 2011.

Starting with 2011 the application process for all REF scholarship schemes is electronic and the online application form, as well as all other relevant application materials, is accessible on the REF webpage (http://www.romaeducationfund.hu/how-apply-scholarship) with the detailed information on scholarships guidelines, application process and procedures, eligibility and selection criteria published.

The Roma Education Fund Scholarships Programme is currently the largest scholarship programme for tertiary level Roma students in Europe. The programme is managed by the Roma Education Fund, and funded by the Open Society Foundations and the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future. The main objective of the REF/SP is to give opportunities and open an access to eligible Roma students to tertiary education in the countries of their residence as well as internationally and to enable larger numbers of Roma to take on visible positions in society through quality education.
